The Pavilion
The Amery Trailhead Steering Committee is finalizing efforts to complete the permanent Trailhead Pavilion in downtown Amery and will be kicking off a final fundraising campaign starting in May with the projected Pavilion Dedication taking place in August of 2012.
The Amery Trailhead Steering Committee is finalizing efforts to complete the permanent Trailhead Pavilion in downtown Amery and will be kicking off a final fundraising campaign starting in May with the projected Pavilion Dedication taking place in August of 2012.
Funds
The final fundraising goal is to raise money to install the electrical and sound system in the Pavilion. The projected cost is $40,000. The various events that can be held in the New Pavilion will require it to have electrical for day and night usage. Also, a quality sound system will allow for live concerts, outdoor meetings and music to be played during events.

Benefits
The new pavilion is going to provide the City with a focal point in its downtown for events and is an attractive place for visitors and residents to enjoy events or a leisurely lunch. The City plans to have free Wi-Fi in Soo Line Park this summer, so the Pavilion will be a sure place for users of the trails to fine local places to shop, eat or find other activities to do while visiting Amery.
