Issue
Water from a near by parking lot and Village Pizzeria roof flowed down the alley and into North Twin Lake via the storm sewer system.
Solution
The porous concrete, unlike most paved surfaces, is not impervious. It allows water to soak into its surface. Graded layers of rock below the concrete increase underground water storage capacity to hold and infiltrate the runoff water before it reaches the lake.
